The regeneration proposals for the Lakes Estate were approved at a Milton Keynes Council meeting on Thursday 8th October. Cllr Ed Hume spoke on behalf of the Town Council in supporting the regeneration of the Lakes Estate at yesterday's meeting.

Saxon Street footpath and lane will be closed from 8am on Tuesday 13th October 2020 until 5pm on Wednesday 21st October 2020. This closure is instead of the previously advertised closure which was due to start on Monday 5th October.
