Remembrance Sunday

Date

Following the Town Council’s Wreath Laying on Sunday morning, with current Covid-19 measures, there will not be Armistice Parades taking place this year. But you can still take part in marking Remembrance Sunday as well as getting involved with remote or virtual Remembrance activities.

Mike Barry, former Mayor of Milton Keynes, will be broadcasting a virtual parade starting at 10.45am this morning on Radio CRMK.

Also, David Ashford has recorded anecdotes, wartime history of Milton Keynes, music and information about the War Memorials in Bletchley, Fenny Stratford and Wavendon. You can listen here.

There are learning resources and more information on The Royal British Legion’s website.
