We have been notified about East West Rail Works’ traffic management and public right of way programme.

Please be aware that Milton Keynes Council has taken the decision to suspend food and garden waste collections from Thursday 14 January 2021. In the meantime, residents are asked to dispose of food waste into black bags and keep any green waste in the garden.

Read the Chairman's New Year Message, from Cllr Angela Kennedy, in this news article, which is also available to read in the Town Council's January e-newsletter.

Please read this news article for ideas of activities and learning, for all ages, which can be completed online and enjoyed from home.

Please be aware that Watling Street, Bletchley (north-westbound carriageway only), from its junction with Kellys Kitchen roundabout to Penn Road, will be closed from 8th February 2021 to 12th April 2021. This closure is to enable construction works on five traffic islands, two informal pedestrian crossings and a new redway.

On 1 January 2021, the Town Council took over direct management of George Street Community Centre in Fenny Stratford when a previous lease ended. Historically this building has been a hub of community activity since its early days as a Temperance Chapel and the Town Council wants to continue this tradition.

This month's e-newsletter includes a New Year message from our Chair, Angela Kennedy, an update about George Street Community Centre and information about support available at this time.

Please be aware that general maintenance issues (overgrown vegetation, potholes, missing signage etc) are not part of the draft plan and can be reported separately by using Milton Keynes Council’s Report It webpage. A map of the existing Redway infrastructure can be viewed here.

Please let us know if you feel there are any missing links (gaps in the existing infrastructure), upgrades needed to existing routes and/or any potential new cycling and walking infrastructure required. We will then pass this information onto Milton Keynes Council.
