The new Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Neighbourhood Plan website is now live (www.bfsnp.org.uk). Head over to the new website to find out more about the Neighbourhood Plan, its current status, and how you can get involved.

From Monday 2nd to Friday 6th August, if you are out and about and passing the former CrossLinks shop in Serpentine Court then stop by and join the conversation. The NHS and the Milton Keynes Council are thinking about doing some work focusing on improving health and well-being and so they are opening the shop 10am-3pm daily as a place to meet and hear what local people have to say.

The Town Council is looking to appoint a new role to the organisation, supporting the Support Services Manager with the day to day running of the Town Council's IT and administrative systems. The deadline to submit your application is now 3rd September 2021.

There are two new dog bins in Leon Rec. These were installed by Milton Keynes Council without the Town Council’s knowledge as part of a programme of improvements to Leon Rec. This meant that these bins were not added to our contract because we didn’t know about them until after they had been installed. The Town Council have now adopted the bins and they have been emptied and our team will keep monitoring usage levels.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays during August, there will be free activities (including Sports and Arts and Crafts) for 7-15 year olds taking place at Newton Leys Pavilion between 10am and 3pm. These free play activities are being run by Youth Network MK on behalf of Bletchley Fenny Stratford Town Council. Please be aware that South Terrace, Bletchley from its junction with Albert Street to its junction with Saxon Street, will be closed between 19th July 2021 – 20th August 2021 (24 Hours). The closure will enable Anglian Water to install a new water connection. Find out more in this news article.
