Waste Collection Updates from Milton Keynes Council
Please be aware that Food and Garden Waste (green bins) collections will return to normal from Monday 11th May. Collections will happen as normal on your usual collection day.
Milton Keynes Council are not able to accept bagged green waste in addition to the bins. Please keep composting as a good, environmental alternative or hold on to additional green waste until the following collection.
The annual delivery of recycling sacks continues across Milton Keynes. Please go to Milton Keynes Council website for further details, including how to order top up recycling sacks and have them delivered to your home.
Please also remember that waste collections now take place on most bank holidays and waste and recycling will be collected as usual on the next bank holiday, which is Friday 8th May.
Milton Keynes Council hopes to be able to provide an update soon on the potential reopening of the Household Waste Recycling Centres. In the meantime, the bulky waste collection service has restarted. Please do not fly-tip.
