Upcoming Closure – Buckingham Road (between Water Eaton Road and the Brunel roundabout)
As part of the East West Rail project upgrade, Buckingham Road, between Water Eaton Road and the Brunel roundabout, will be closed from 18/08/21 – 21/08/21 between 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. Pedestrian access will remain open.
The East West Rail Team are lifting 6-tonne precast units which hold the weight and handrails along the flyover. To minimise disruption these are being lifted at night. Please see the map and poster below showing their work area and the diversion route.
