Milton Keynes Council has issued the following notice to close Watling Street (V4), Bletchley (for approximately 230 meters in a North Westerly direction) from its junction with Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout. This is in order to carry out the installation of a new gas main for the construction of a new Housing development.
The closure will come into effect at the following days and times:
- 8.00pm on Monday 5th October until 6.00am on Tuesday 6th October 2020;
- 8.00pm on Tuesday 6th October until 6.00am on Wednesday 7th October 2020;
- 8.00pm on Wednesday 7th October until 6.00am on Thursday 8th October 2020;
- 8.00pm on Thursday 8th October until 6.00am on Friday 9th October 2020;
- 8.00pm on Friday 9th October until 6.00am on Monday 12th October 2020.
The road will be re-opened as normal outside the times listed above. Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via A5, Bletcham Way, Saxon Street and Watling Street (Vice-Versa). Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure.
