Train services will resume on Monday 20th November 2023.
Initially four services will run in each direction on Monday – Fridays during the morning and afternoon peak periods. A full rail replacement bus service (all stations and limited stop) will continue to operate at other times.
The Kimberley College Special Buses to Bedford St Johns & Bedford will continue to run in the afternoon only.
The full timetable, including the return of a Saturday & Bank Holiday service, is expected to resume in early 2024 once sufficient train crew have completed their training on the Class 150s.
All of the three units allocated to the Marston Vale Line have recently been refurbished with features including an accessible toilet & baby changing facility, visual and audio announcements, CCTV and USB charging points throughout. Each train also has dedicated space for wheelchairs, pushchairs and cycles.

Please purchase tickets for Rail Replacement Bus journeys from any staffed station or the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM)) at unstaffed stations before travel. Tickets purchased online can be collected at any TVM. The TVMs are card only.
Please note the bus drivers are unable to issue rail tickets.
Rail tickets can be purchased from the conductor on the train by cash or card.
Bedfordshire Bus Pass holders travel for half price on the route after 10:00am on weekdays and all-day Saturday & Bank Holidays. Groups of 3 – 9 adults travel for a third off with GroupSave.
