The aim of The Big Help Out is to use volunteering to bring communities together and create a lasting volunteering legacy from the Coronation weekend and we want to hear your stories. We are encouraging children and young adults to help out in the community over the Coronation weekend and in return we have a number of Coronation mementos to reward and remember this act of giving back to the community.

Join the free family big lunch as the Coronation Strawberry Fayre comes to Water Eaton Church Centre this Saturday 6th May from 11am-3pm. Supported by local Residents Associations, the Town Council and Milton Keynes City Council.

Dales Surveying will be carrying out a photographic survey on the telecoms equipment of Serpentine Court on Thursday 4 May. There may be some noise whilst the drone flies across the area and the work will be completed on the day weather permitting. Due to moving to new areas, two councillors, Cllr Michael McDonald and Cllr Sean Porter, have now left the town council after several years of service. The town council would like to thank them for their work throughout this time.

Everyone is welcome to attend this public meeting. You will find out more about the work of the town and city councils over the last year. Guest speaker John Cove, Chair of Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Deal Board will talk about the progress with the Town Deal.

Please be aware of the upcoming partial road closure (02/05/23 - 05/05/23) for Watling Street, from its junction with A5 Roundabout to its junction with Belvedere Lane.

The Leon dinosaur is for many residents an important local symbol in our area. The Town Council has previously advised in good faith that the dinosaur was the property of Milton Keynes City Council. However, recent oral information has suggested that the Town Council took over the responsibility of the dinosaur when it was moved to its present location from Leon School. New YiS Young People's Mental Health Early Support Hub drop-in for 11-18 year olds. The Hub is currently open on Mondays (during term time) 3.30pm-5pm at Water Eaton Health Centre, MK2 3HN.

Upcoming Community Forum with Thames Valley Police – 7pm-8pm on Thursday 20 April at Bletchley Postal Club. Come along and decide your local neighbourhood priorities, access crime prevention advice and report any issues or concerns with your local policing team.

There is a new emergency alerts system in place that gives the government and emergency services the ability to send alerts directly to mobile phones when there is a risk to life. There will be a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts service on Sunday 23 April 2023.
