Following resident feedback Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council has completed an informal consultation with residents of Millward Drive. The consultation sought to determine the level of support for introduction of a traffic regulation order (TRO) which would mean double yellow lines being introduced to part of the street. The parking along this section of Millward Drive currently has the potential to be dangerous as it limits vision when negotiating the roundabout and curved road, obstructs vehicular access for larger vehicles such as fire engines and frustrates the pedestrian access on the pavements.
88 residents completed the online consultation with 92% in favour of the introduction of this TRO.
The results have been submitted to Milton Keynes City Council, who will conduct further investigations and carry out a formal consultation.
