The town council is consulting the community about its plans to renovate Sycamore Hall and make it fit for the future. The council’s vision is to create a modern and sustainable community building at the middle of our area which can be used for important local services as well as for private hire. If the project goes ahead the Hall will be physically joined to Sycamore House. The planned changes will improve accessibility and create flexible spaces which can be used for a range of activities as the council responds to the needs of our growing community over the next decades. With the welcome regeneration of the Lakes Estate (and the consequent loss of our Spotlight Community Resource Centre) the town council needs to relocate many of its activities to a central location.
To find out more about this exciting project, to tell us what you think and to suggest your ideas for use of the building please complete our online survey which you can find here. The survey closes on 24 April 2024.
