Community Iftar at The Palatial Hall

Date
-

Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council in association with local community groups is honoured to host our first community Iftar as an opportunity to reach out to neighbours and strengthen relationships.

Iftar is the meal Muslim’s have when breaking their fast in the month of Ramadan.
Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a time when Muslims open their doors to family, friends and neighbours.

Eating together is one of the most natural ways of developing friendships and breaking barriers.
The event is free, fully accessible and open to everyone of all and no faiths. There will be an array of speakers, prayer, and music. Free kids activities are available.

Guests will share a meal together. A variety of food will be served, including vegetarian, gluten free options and desserts

Please note there is washing facilities and dedicated prayer spaces available

Due to fire safety restrictions please reserve your FREE place and show your booking on arrival. You may be seated on tables with other booked parties where required.

To promote sustainability we encourage people to use public transport or walk to the venue.

We look forward to seeing you
